At least 4 dead and 9 wounded in Russian attack on central Kharkov

At least four people were killed and nine others wounded in Wednesday’s Russian missile attack on the center of Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city in the east of the country, the State Emergency Service reported.

“Emergency rescue operations are underway on administrative buildings after morning enemy missile attack on Kharkiv”said the source on his official Telegram channel.

The Russian attack on the center of Kharkiv took place around 0610 GMT with missiles against several state buildings and a university.

The adviser to the Ministry of the Interior, Anton Gerashchenko, stated today on his Telegram account that “Kharkov has been constantly under fire from the Russians.”

On Tuesday, one of the attacks by Russian forces was against the headquarters of the regional administration, in which at least 7 people died and 24 were injured.

The second bombing was recorded in a residential building, according to the State Emergency Service, and caused 8 deaths and 6 injuries.

The head of the Kharkov regional state administration, Oleg Sinegúbov, quoted by Gershchenko, said that 21 people died the day before, and another 112 were injured.
