He has stressed that to all these people we must also add “the internally displaced.” He has stressed that their priority is to get help to them and that, given the current situation, “We are facing a worrying migration crisis”.

Thus, he has highlighted that “many boys and girls live in very serious situations”. He adds that in some areas of the country there is a shortage of water or electricity, so, he says, “the situation is worrying”.

Therefore, Gabilondo has explained that “The priority of Unicef ​​is to protect children and their families”. He believes it is essential “to stop the attack and open safe paths to offer help”, although he confesses that, facing the future, they are “very worried”.
