This Saturday Ukraine accused Russia of wanting to bring possible negotiations to stop the war to a dead end before they begin, by falsely stating that Kiev refuses to come to the table for dialogue and put conditions on the talks.
The Kremlin has sent this Sunday a Russian negotiating delegation to Belarus to start talks with Ukrainian representatives on the war between Russia and Ukraine, according to the spokesman for the Russian presidency, Dmitry Peskov. For his part, the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, he has refused to have those talks with Russia in Belarus, denouncing that dialogue cannot take place in a country that is complicit in Russian aggression against Ukraine.
“In accordance with the agreement reached, the Russian delegation, made up of representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defense and other entities, including the Presidential Administration, arrived in Belarus to talk with the Ukrainians. We are ready to start talks in Gomel,” Peskov has announced.
The sending of that delegation from Moscow arrives in the fourth day of russian invasionwhich began in the early hours of Thursday, with Kremlin forces stalking Kiev and seizing other cities, such as Kharkivwith 1.4 million inhabitants.
