Donald Trump returns to the fray in the United States. The former US president and tycoon announced this Saturday his intention to stand again in the US elections, scheduled for 2024. Trump has taken advantage of the complex international situation led by the war in Ukraine to publicize his political plans. Not only that, has used the conflict itself started by Russia to launch several electoral promises.
“With Bush, Russia invaded Georgia; with Obama, Russia invaded Crimea; with Biden, Russia invaded Ukraine. I present myself as the only president of the 21st century who watches that Russia does not invade another country”, assured the former US president, who has continued charging the incumbent Democratic president: “Biden has led us into a war in Europe.” Faced with this, he has vindicated his past management at the country’s command: “We already did it once and we will do it again.”
