Greece on Saturday urged Russia to end aerial bombardments of Ukrainian villages in which they would have been at least ten people “murdered” of the Greek minority residing in those areas.
“We call on the Russian Federation to cease air strikes and all actions against civilians”, the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote in a statement.
At least ten people belonging to Ukraine’s Greek minority, who It has about 100,000 members, they died in those bombings, the statement said, calling the attacks “unacceptable criminal actions.”
Six of the victims died in the village of Sartana, where they also six injuries were reported.
The another four deceased died in a bombardment in the village of Buhasspecified the Greek ministerial statement.
The two villages are located near Mariupol (southeast Ukraine), a coastal city facing the Sea of Azov. (I)
