He added that there is permanent coordination with the honorary consulate, as well as the consular section of the Peruvian embassy in Poland.
“Now we are in plan B, because plan A was to evacuate them by air, but until yesterday they did not want to leave Ukraine. Now the airports are closed and at this moment it only remains to take them by land to the border with Poland”he specified.
It was learned that the majority of compatriots living in Ukraine They have lived there for a long time, they have work roots in that country and they even already have a family.
“From Kiev to Poland it is more or less 5 hours by bus. Our consulate will assume the costs of transportation, food, accommodation to the border, where our officials from the Peruvian embassy in Poland will be waiting for them.”, Masana García limited.
He also communicated that every citizen who is in Ukraine and does not have Peruvian documents will also receive a safe conduct to leave that country if required.
“Those who do not have a DNI do not worry, their identity will be verified and they will be given the safe conduct. They have consulted us about the minor children of Peruvian citizens who have not been registered in the civil registries. For them, it must be said that the only thing they need is the Ukrainian birth certificate, where the name of the Peruvian mother or father appears and with that we will give them the safe conduct“, advancement.
