However, in these elections only 13.3% of eligible residents voted.
In the first round, held on January 25, Wallace had already obtained 45.9% of the votes, while McCray obtained 27.6% of the votes.
The small city in southern Miami-Dade County has about 13,000 inhabitants, of which more than 45% are Latino and 53% are African American, according to census data. (I)
