Foreign Affairs recommends Spanish residents in Ukraine to leave the country “temporarily”

Spain thus joins the list of countries that since this Friday have asked their citizens to leave Ukraine.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Spanish Government advises against traveling to Ukraine due to the “volatile” security situation in the country due to the rise in tensions with Russia and recommends that Spaniards living there to consider “seriously” the possibility of abandoning it “temporarily”.

In addition, sources from the Ministry have confirmed this Saturday that Spain is “prepared” to activate the evacuation device in Ukrainewhile asking to remain calm.

At the moment, the situation is being “analyzed” but this evacuation device is “ready” to be activated “if necessary”.

Spain has thus joined the long list of countries that have asked their respective citizens the return of Ukraine. These are South Korea, Japan, Israel, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Latvia, Estonia, Italy, Germany, Sweden and Belgium.
