Vladimir Putin gives Russians a week off to curb the pandemic

The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, today gave Russians a week of paid vacation from October 30 to November 7 to stop the advance of the coronavirus pandemic, which has claimed its lives in the last 24 hours of more than a thousand people, while infections exceed 30,000 daily.
