Death toll rises to 10 after falling rocky wall on boats in Brazil

Commander Giuvaine Barbosa, of the Minas Gerais Fire Department, indicated at a press conference that the searches will continue to fully recover the bodies of the three victims found this Sunday and stressed that they are not working with the possibility of more missing persons.

The ten deceased were in the same boat, named Jesus, at the time of the accident, as explained Marcos Pimenta, commissioner of the Civil Police of Minas Gerais, in statements to journalists.

Pimenta also revealed that they are having serious difficulties in identifying the victims due to the impact brutality.

Members of the Fire Department, Police, Navy and Civil Defense, in an operation with more than 50 soldiers, of which 11 are divers with knowledge of the region and specialized in rescue actions.
