Cuba wishes Argentina success at the head of Celac

The president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, wished this Saturday success to Argentina in the protémpore presidency of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac), a regional group created in 2010.

The Cuban leader also acknowledged on Twitter the work of Mexico, which in the last two years presided over the regional bloc that brings together 33 countries in the Americas, except the United States and Canada.

“Cuba will continue to bet on unity within the Latin American and Caribbean diversity,” Díaz-Canel wrote in his account on the social network.

The Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez, who attended the Celac ministerial summit in Buenos Aires this Thursday and Friday, advocated at the meeting for a “united and supportive” region that speaks “with one voice” to defend its ” interests”.
