The Minister of Health of Venezuela, Carlos Alvarado, reported this Monday that the booster vaccination phase against COVID-19 began formally with the aim of “maintaining control” of the pandemic.

He also said that these first days, he will be vaccinated in hospitals, clinics and Comprehensive Diagnostic Centers (CDI), and next week it will be in all the inoculation centers enabled in the country.
However, this Monday the immunization process began at the Alba Caracas hotel, without distinguishing between people over 60 years of age or health personnel.
Claret Rodríguez, 43, went to the hotel in the morning to receive the third dose of the vaccine as a form of prevention and protection for her and her family members.
“(It is) a way to protect the Venezuelan people against COVID-19. It is a preventive measure because I have taken my two doses at the right time, “he told Eph.
Jesús Restrepo also went to the hotel and assured Efe that the process to receive the vaccine is “light” and called on the rest of Venezuelans to be immunized.
