Central Mexico awakens with the statue of President López Obrador demolished

A statue of the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, recently unveiled in the municipality of Atlacomulco, in the State of Mexico, center of the country, was shot down early this Saturday.

In images published on social networks, the sculpture, designed in pink quarry and 1.8 meters high, appears on the floor, in front of the base that supported her but without head or legs.

The figure was made by artisans from the municipality of Tlalpujahua, in the state of Michoacán and, according to information, it had a cost of 50,000 pesos (about $ 2,440), which according to the mayor himself he paid.
