President Donald Trump said Apple Inc. I should put an end to your efforts on Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI)intensifying your pressure campaign to eliminate those policies from US workplaces.
“Apple should get rid of the dei standards, not just make settings”, The president wrote Wednesday on his social media platform.
The comments occur a day after Apple investors rejected an external shareholders proposal to end their initiatives ofi.
Executive director Tim Cook said the company never had fees or hiring objectives, but that it could still make some settings to the program. The company made the vote as part of its annual meeting.
