“Idiots”, “fools” and “mental weak”. This is how, from now on, Javier Milei’s government will qualify the people with disabilities in Argentina. This offensive terminology appears in an official document of the National Disability Agencygenerating a strong controversy.

The controversy broke out with the publication of the Resolution 187/2025which establishes the criteria for the review and distribution of Non -contributory pensions for people with disability. The classification, which evokes archaic and deeply discriminatory language, divides people with intellectual disabilities into three categories according to their CI:
