Kamala Harris slightly ahead of Donald Trump, according to several polls

The race towards the presidential elections in USA presents a very close scenario that, for the moment, gives a slight advantage to the vice president of USA., Kamala Harrisfacing the former president and Republican candidate for re-election, Donald Trump, according to several polls dated this Sunday.

The most significant difference is offered by the new survey published by ABC News/Washington Post/Ipsos, which gives the Democratic candidate a lead of 50% in front of the 45% of support that Trump receives, although Harris fails to surpass the former president (2017-2021) on key issues such as the management of the economy and immigration.

According to this poll, Harris would beat Trump by a margin. 50% in front of the 45% of the former president among all adults and with one percentage point less (49%-45%) among registered voters.

And he would also surpass him among potential voters by 51% compared to the New York magnate’s 45%.

The Ipsos poll, like the average compiled by the FiveThirtyEight website, reflects the closeness of these presidential elections, at a time when Vice President Harris is preparing to officially accept her nomination next week at the Democratic National Convention.

In the FiveThirtyEight average released Sunday, Harris leads Trump by a margin of 2.6 percentage points (46.4% to 43.8%).

And according to an aggregate of polls released by The Hill/Decision Desk, Harris leads Trump nationally by a narrow 1.8 percent (49 percent for the Democrat to 47 percent for the Republican).

The Democratic duo (Harris and her running mate, Governor Tim Waltz) have managed to reverse the bad omens for their party ahead of the November elections that US President Joe Biden had when he was a candidate.

Various polls now show a very close race between Trump and Harris.
