The NGO World Central Kitchenfounded by the Spanish chef Jose Andreshas reported that uOne of its employees, of Palestinian origin, was killed in Gaza on WednesdayThis murder comes four months after seven employees were killed in an Israeli airstrike.
The organization has identified the murdered person as Nadi Salllout and has assured in a publication on its Twitter account that it was a warehouse team worker since the beginning of its intervention in Rafah.
He also said that he is still investigating the details of the incident, but that he believes that Nadi Salllout was off duty at the time of the attackwhich occurred near Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
This is not the first time that an Israeli bombing has taken the lives of NGO workers, since In April, several attacks hit a convoy of humanitarian aid vehicles who were travelling through Gaza on 1 April, killing seven staff members of José Andrés’s organization from the United States, Australia, Great Britain and Poland.
