A minor has died after being hit by a stray bullet when the police opened fire to kill a suspect in a shopping center in California, United States. The teenager’s name was Valentina and she was preparing her 15th birthday party.
In the video that illustrates these lines, recorded by the body cameras of the agents who were pursuing the suspect, it is observed how even a dozen armed police chase him down a corridor in the shopping center where the events occurred.
At that moment they discover a wounded woman on the ground and, moments later, they open fire on the suspect, a man who minutes before had accessed the store with a bicycle, as recorded by security cameras.
After threatening to throw the bicycle several times, the individual ended up taking the lock and began to threaten customers and hit objects, injuring the woman whom the police found bleeding on the ground.
