Five people, including the suspect, have died in several shootings in a row that occurred on Monday afternoon in the city of Denver and the nearby town of Lakewood, both in Colorado (USA), according to local media.
The event took place after 5:00 p.m. local time when the first shooting took place on a Denver street, according to The Denver Post. In that incident the suspect shot three people, two women were killed and a man was injured.
Shortly after there was a second shooting in which another man was killed, and later came a third incident in which there were also shots although without injuries.
The police located the suspect’s car and there was a chase with exchange of gunfire no injuries. The suspect managed to escape, although he was again involved in another event, already in Lakewood.
At around 6:00 p.m. he fled and was not heard from again until Lakewood police reported a new incident in Lakewood.
The suspect made it to Lakewood, and around 6:00 pm there was another shooting with another deceased person.
Shortly after the police located him in a commercial areaThere, the suspect shot a hotel concierge and later confronted a policeman whom he wounded. After a new exchange of fire, the agents shot him down and he died.
According to The Denver Channel, the authorities continue to investigate the causes of this incident, about which no further details have emerged.
