However, miraculously, her daughter was saved, and both now, sheltered in another hospital, thank God for the miracle, although they cannot stop dreaming of those tortuous images. “I couldn’t breathe; A piece of wall had gotten into my throat“, says Solemia Fomeniuk, Oksana’s daughter.

Like them, Anhelina lived through a real hell. The mother says that she was not with her son, Vova, when the missile blew up the hospital. “Only I remember his voice when he told me he was alive“I don’t remember how I got to the hospital, only when I hugged him,” she says.

At the time of impact, there was More than 670 child patients in the hospital. Many of them managed to emerge unscathed from the brutal attack thanks to their male and female nurses who pulled them out. “I woke up and everything was white; the nurses pulled us out through the window,” recalls Andrei, an orphan boy who survived the attack.

Olenxander’s son, who is only nine years old and has cerebral palsy, or Ludmyla’s, also managed to save their lives. Now, they tell us, their oldest son concern is to prevent their children from suffering.
