The facilities, which must come into operation no later than the end of 2025, will be located in the Antofagasta, Valparaíso, Biobío and Magallanes regions in the north, center and south of Chile, determined to promote this clean energy technology, the productive development office.
“The selected proposals will attract investments of US $ 1 billion and expect to produce more than 45,000 tons of green hydrogen per year, which will reduce more than 600,000 tons of CO2 annually.”Said the executive vice president of Corfo, Pablo Terrazas, quoted in a statement.
