Mexico has just recovered a thousand-year-old Mayan vesselan object of very high value that, at some point in history, was lost. An American woman found it by chance in the least expected place: in a second hand store in Maryland (United States).

That was where Ann Lee Dozier bought it for only 4 eurosShe thought that what she had in her hands was just an old vase. But some time later, after visiting a museum in Mexico City, she was surprised to see how the Mayan vases there looked too much like the vase she had in the display case at home.

He contacted the Mexican embassy in Washington and it was found that the piece was nearly 2,000 years old. Now she has finally returned to the place she deserves, to Mexico, thanks to your collaboration: “I wanted him out of my house, because I have three small children and I was terrified at all times because I could be the first person in 2,000 years to whom the vase broke.”

It is not known how such a valuable piece could end up in a second-hand store, sold as if it were a trinket.
