Ultra Putinism in Europe. The German far right displays a flag with the colors of Germany and Russia from a Russian enclave: Kaliningrad. The support of several ultra formations for Vladimir Putin is worrying in Brussels and Berlin.

“Friendship between Germany and Russia, forever”. This was the slogan of some Germans who showed their support for the Kremlin, making it clear that the German extreme right is also pro-Russian. Their objective is to strengthen their relations with Putin by traveling to Kaliningrad to hug each other and also melt their flags.

Using language from another era, the Kremlin media has covered the event, showing them as an example of the division within Europe, rejecting Western values. Parliamentarians and affiliates from the Saxony-Anhalt Region participated in the trip: they point to the current German government as Vassals of America.

The national leadership of the ultra party distances itself: they assure that they were not informed and that this “friendship trip” has been paid for on a personal basis and not with the Afd accounts.

But it is not his first Russophile scandal. Just a few weeks ago, the German Parliament lifted the immunity of the number two of Alternative for Germany in the lists for the Europeans: The Prosecutor’s Office investigates him for receiving money from the Kremlin.
