After the attacks on October 7 by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), which left almost 1,200 dead, 240 hostages and motivated the bloody Israeli military response – which has already claimed more than 37,500 lives -, Hezbollah has launched also attacks on the northern Israeli border as a measure of support for the Palestinian population.
In the last weeks Tension has been increasing in this area, where Israel has also responded to the attacks. Some voices in the Israeli Government aim to declare a “total war” against Hezbollah, an Islamist militia supported by Iran and which has strong support in Lebanon.
