Venezuela and China They signed three bilateral cooperation agreements in the field of economy, technology and innovation, focused on the economic development of both allied countries, the Venezuelan Government reported this Saturday.
The Executive indicated, in a press release, that these new agreements, signed in Caracas by representatives of both nations, also seek to promote the exchange of knowledge based on their respective experiences, for mutual benefit.
In this sense, the state channel Venezolana de Televisión (VTV) indicated that they have the objective, among others, of “foster knowledge exchange and cooperation in economic policies to strengthen capabilities“, as well as “promote technological innovation and the development of a knowledge-based economy, promoting creativity and collaboration in innovation projects”.
Furthermore, one of them establishes cooperation in “economic research and the development of innovative strategies for the benefit of both nations”.
In recent months, Venezuela has announced several commercial agreements with Chinathe most recent one for the promotion and reciprocal protection of investments that contemplates a regulatory investment framework for Chinese companies in the Caribbean country, as well as the participation of Venezuelan companies in the Asian giant.
