Shock in France after a new rape case. The authorities have arrested three mchildren between 12 and 13 years old for his alleged involvement in the rape of a girl of the same age, an attack aggravated by anti-Semitic insults against the victim.
The minors were arrested in Courbevoie (Hauts-de-Seine, Paris region) after a complaint filed by the girl’s parents. According to local media, gynecological examinations have confirmed the rape.
The attack, in which also there were beatings and death threatswould have occurred on Saturday and one of the detainees would be an old boyfriend of the victim who, according to the statements, would have been angry because she had not told him that she was Jewish.
The Prosecutor’s Office has indicated that the accusation includes six charges, including aggravated rape, and two of them with the aggravating circumstance that they were committed because of the victim’s religion.
The detainees will soon be presented to a juvenile judge to decide whether they remain detained or are released while the investigations continue.
