The UN adds Israel to its list of shame. The report includes terrorist groups and state forces that seriously violate the rights of girls and boys. To be included in this shameful list, the United Nations takes into account the murders of minors and attacks on schools. Israel has certainly made merit.
A few minutes ago, Netanyahu described the decision as “delusional” and his foreign minister attacked the UN secretary general. “The UN put itself on the ‘blacklist’ of history today when it joined the supporters of the murderers of Hamas,” responded Netanyahu, who has defined the Israel Defense Forces as “the most moral Army in the world.”
Erdan has stated that he feels “absolutely shocked and disgusted” for the “immoral” measure adopted by Guterres. “The one who should end up on a blacklist is the Secretary General, whose decision, since the war began and even before, encourages Hamas terrorists to use children,” he added.
For his part, the Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs, Israel Katz, has described “shameful” decision. “It is an act of villainy,” he said, reproaching Guterres for observing a minute of silence at the United Nations for the death of the president of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi.
“He will be remembered in history as an anti-Semitic general secretary who chose to ignore Hamas sexual crimes and Israel’s right to self-defense (…) This step will have consequences for Israel’s relations with the UN,” he warned.
