One more time Israel has massacred Palestine again. He did so two days after the International Court of Justice in The Hague ordered him to immediately stop his offensive in Rafah. The aerial bombardment on a camp for displaced people killed fifty people in the early hours of this Monday in the Tal al Sultan neighborhood, northwest of Rafah. An authentic massacre against women and children that has skyrocketed the death toll in Gaza to over 36,000 victims and is occurring at the cost of almost complicit international inaction. While different countries regret and condemn the massacre, in practice, None of them take action to stop Netanyahu.

The European Union has summoned the Israeli Foreign Minister, Israel Katz, to address respect for human rights in Gaza; Some countries have threatened to review the agreements between Brussels and Jerusalem and have asked to meet with Katz, the same man who has raised the tone against Spain and has threatened that “To those who harm us, we will harm them in response.to”.

For its part, Spain, Norway and Ireland defend recognizing the Palestinian State this Tuesday. From the Government, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, assures that this decision will bring us closer to “peaceful coexistence between Israelis and Palestinians.” But These calls for attention to Israel fail to stop Netanyahu. The massacre continues unabated in Rafah in the face of international inaction.

The massacre continues: 45 people have died in a displaced persons camp

Proof of this has been the Israel’s last massacre which took place in the early hours of this Sunday to Monday. Although the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu described it in Parliament as a “tragic mistake”, the truth is that the attack has been confirmed by the Israeli Army, which claims that it was directed against two senior Hamas officials. Israel ignores the International Court of Justice

The paradox is that Israel has burned dozens of Palestinians alive in the same tents in which it forced them to seek refuge. He has done so by once again ignoring the International Court of Justice, and resorting, as he has done on other occasions, to victimhood.

The High Representative for Foreign Affairs of the EU, Josep Borrell, commented this morning that “the prosecutor and the court have been strongly intimidated and accused of anti-Semitism; as always when anyone does something that the Netanyahu Government does not like.”

But those of Netanyahu is being able to perpetrate massacre upon massacre in Palestine because the international community itself is allowing it with almost complicit global inaction.. No matter how much different countries, both European and Arab, point out and denounce the massacre and injustice that is being experienced in this territory, Netanyahu does not stop his offensive and the massacre continues unabated.

The co-director of the Institute for Conflict Studies and Humanitarian Action (IECAH), Jesús Núñez Villaverde, summarized it very clearly this Monday in Al Rojo Vivo: “The EU or the Arab countries continue to lament and condemn, but in the meantime they do not take any action that makes Israel feel that there are red lines that cannot be crossed with impunity.
