It is three in the afternoon on a Saturday shopping trip when panic breaks out in a DIY center in the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv. It’s about a new Russian bombing on Ukrainian territory, as seen in the images that accompany these lines. At first it falls a glider-type aviation bomb and then another. Both impact the Epicenter, the most important hypermarket in Ukraine’s second city.

The Ukrainian authorities assure that there were at least 200 people inside, including fifteen workers who they don’t pick up their phones, as indicated by the mayor of the city, Igor Tejerov. At the moment, there are two confirmed deaths and more than thirty injured.

One of them is the young man who appears in the main video who says that he first heard “the first bombardment” that made them duck: “We fell to the ground and in the second bombardment the rubble buried us”, the boy said. Moments after the attack, some survivors told firefighters where people were trapped. “There, there, when you enter you have to go straight. Straight, straight, straight. And on the left side there are some stairs, well under the stairs,” indicated one of them.

Firefighters have also been working to put out the fire caused by the bombings. An attack that has caused more than 15,000 square meters have been on fire that have left a huge column of smoke that some witnesses and even some of the victims have been able to record.

During the day this Saturday, the city of Kharkiv has suffered four attacks on civilian areas: one at dawn, another in the morning, the one mentioned at noon, and late in the afternoon a fourth on a civilian residential area. Is about a wave of violence that Ukraine fails to stopespecially in this area where attacks are continuous.
