Two men died this Sunday afternoon in a shooting that occurred in Sevran, in Saint Denis, on the outskirts of Parisin a new incident possibly related to drug trafficking. The victims, two men 31 and 35 years old with antecedents for drug trafficking, they were shot at around 6:30 p.m., according to French television BFMTV, citing police sources.
One of the men “he died almost instantly” and the second received care from emergency services, but “died as a result of his injuries.”
Police Commissioner Laurent Núñez has confirmed the opening of an investigation. “We have reason to believe that what happened this afternoon is not totally unrelated to drug trafficking“, has explained.
On Friday another man was shot dead and several more were injured a few meters away from where the shooting occurred this Sunday.
