World Economic Forum postponed to summer to be held at its headquarters in Davos

The 2022 edition of the World Economic Forum (WEF), postponed to the beginning of the boreal summer due to the omicron variant of COVID-19, will be held at its headquarters in Davos, its founder Klaus Schwab said in an interview with a Swiss newspaper .

The WEF announced on Monday that the meeting, scheduled for late January at the select ski resort of Davos in the Swiss Alps, was postponed to early summer due to the explosive spread of the omicron variant.

Asked by the blick.ch newspaper to find out if Singapore was going to be raised as the venue again, as happened in the 2021 edition of the Forum that was finally canceled, Schwab was categorical: “No, it will take place in Davos”.
