The UN rapporteur for Palestine, Francesca Albanese, and her counterpart for the right to health, Tlaleng Mofokeng, have condemned the destruction of Gaza’s main hospital after two weeks of siege and they have assured that it is a sample of the genocide that the Strip is suffering.
“The world is witnessing the first genocide shown live by the victims themselves“, the two United Nations experts said in a statement where they reiterated their call for UN member states to “use all their power to stop it.”
“Allowing this violence to occur sends a message to the international community that the people of Gaza have no right to health.“, Mofokeng and Albanese have lamented. Thus, they assure that Israel is committing genocide crimes against the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip.
