A total of 10,327 people, 8,000 of them Spanish citizens from the world of culture, journalism and thought, have signed the third publication of the manifesto against the war in the Middle East that condemns the genocide of Israel and the terrorism of Hamas to urge an “immediate and indefinite” ceasefire. . This Sunday, around twenty of the more than 10,000 signatories presented to the media at the Ateneo de Madrid the third publication in the newspaper El País of this manifesto, titled ‘We must stop the war. The text, which has the support of citizens of 31 other countries, was first published on October 29 and for the second time on November 19. In each of the editions, new signatories have been incorporated, among them an important part of prominent professionals of Spanish culture and journalism professionals. Although it has not changed with respect to its previous publications, the manifesto takes as its starting point the “firm” condemnation of the genocide that Israel is committing and the terrorism of Hamas to demand a ceasefire.
