More than 25% of Gaza urban areas wiped off the map by Israeli bombings

More than 25% of urban areas in Loop have been completely wiped out from the map by the attacks of Israel that have taken place since the start of the war, on October 7, said today Mohamed Ziara, Minister of Public Works and Housing of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA), which governs the West Bank.

In turn, he denounced that “thousands of civilians have died under the rubble, most of whom are children, women and the elderly.”

The incessant Israeli bombings of the last few hours have resulted in at least 130 deaths, as reported today by the Ministry of Health of Loopcontrolled by Hamas.

According to him, the Martyrs of Al Aqsa hospital received the bodies of at least 71 dead “in the last 24 hours” due to Israeli bombings on the central governorate of Loopto.

Likewise, the Nasser hospital, in the southern city of Khan Younis, where Israeli troops are advancing their ground operation, has received the bodies of at least 62 people in the last day, while the Army continues attacking and fighting throughout the Strip.

The Israeli airstrikes also “led to the death of 20 people” in the Al Sahaba and Al Daraj areas of the city of Loopas well as fifteen people in Al Zaytun and a dozen more in the Shijaiya neighborhood, both in Gaza City, “while ambulances face extreme difficulties in recovering bodies of the dead,” according to Wafa.

Another affected neighborhood is the central Al Rimal, also in the city of Loopnow “witnessing a massive incursion of Israeli military vehicles, amid missile and artillery attacks against homes,” which also caused the death of more people.

While fighting in the north of Loopa, the Israeli Army is trying to control Khan Yunis in the south, which it considers one of the great strongholds of the Islamist group Hamas in the Strip.

The internally displaced people of the Strip Loop There are almost 1.9 million, around 80% of its total population (about 2.3 million inhabitants), with a serious humanitarian crisis.
