The mayor of New York, the Democrat Eric Adams has been accused of sexual assault allegedly committed in 1993 in his work environment, when he belonged to the Police Force, according to a judicial document made public this Wednesday night.

The accusation came hours before a one-year legal window to seek civil justice in crime cases expired. sexual crimes that had already prescribedenabled thanks to the Adult Survivors Law in the state of New York.
