Former United States president Donald Trump will travel to Buenos Aires to meet with the president-elect of Argentina, Javier Milei, a statement from the Argentine leader reported.
The statement did not give details of when the visit will take place nor did it clarify whether Trump will attend Milei’s inauguration, which will be on December 10. There were no immediate comments from the former US president.
Milei told local radio on Monday, a day after winning the second round of elections in Argentina, that he will make a trip to the United States and Israel before assuming power.
The ultraliberal’s victory, which channeled voters’ anger over a deep economic crisis, provoked mixed reactions around the world, from hostility from some Latin American leftists, tentative support from others and China’s promise to work together despite the criticisms made during the campaign.

“Congratulations to Javier Milei for a great election in Argentina. everyone was watching“Trump said in a video posted Tuesday on the Truth Social social network.
“I am very proud of you. You are going to totally change your country and really make Argentina great again”.
