The Turkish Parliament removed products from its restaurants on Tuesday Coca Cola and Nestle for his alleged support of Israel in the midst of the conflict Loopaccording to an official statement and a source who named the two companies.
“Products from companies that support Israel will not be sold in restaurants, cafes and tea shops on the Parliament grounds,” declared the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, without identifying the companies.
President Numan Kurtulmus made the decision, he added, to “support public sensitivity regarding the boycott of products from companies that have openly declared their support for Israel’s war crimes (and) the slaughter of innocents in Gaza.”
A parliamentary source said Coca-Cola drinks and Nestlé instant coffee were the only brands removed from menus, adding that the decision was intended to respond to “the enormous public outcry against these companies” for supporting Israel.
Neither the Parliament statement nor the source specified how Coca-Cola and Nestlé supported Israel’s war effort.

Last month, Nestlé announced the temporary closure of one of its production plants in Israel due to “caution”becoming the first consumer products giant to announce a response to the war.
In recent days, Turkish activists have mentioned both companies in social media posts calling for a boycott of Israeli products and Western companies they see as supporting Israel.
