He Gaza Ministry of Health has issued a document 212 pages in which the names and identification numbers of the more than 7,000 Palestinians killed in the Israeli bombings on the enclave since the outbreak of the conflict on October 7.

The document comes in response to statements by US President Joe Biden, who together with the Israeli Army has questioned the figures of Palestinian civilians killed in Gaza offered by the authorities, controlled by Hamas.

Biden, who has been demonstrating the unconditional support of the United States for Israel for weeks, spoke like this about the victims that his ally’s bombs left in Gaza: “I have no idea that the Palestinians are telling the truth about how many people have died.” […] I have no confidence in the figures that the Palestinians are using,” he noted.

From the aforementioned ministry they have issued a statement in which they regret the statements coming from the US administration, at a time when its people expect “a urgent international intervention to stop the genocidal war carried out by the Israeli occupier against all its civilians, health personnel and the media.

Faced with the “blatant” questioning of the validity of the figures, the Gazan authorities have decided to “announce in detail and before the entire world the truth about the genocidal war committed by the Israeli occupation.” They also urge that “all institutions can see the work system of the Ministry of Health, so that the world knows that Behind each number is the story of a person whose name and identity are known“.
