The German Federal Police has temporarily closed Hamburg airport due to a threat of an attack against a flight from Iran. In a statement through its website, the airport warns that, for the moment, All takeoffs and landings are canceled and that this can cause delays in operations throughout the day, which is why it recommends travelers check the status of their flights.

According to DPA, an airport spokesperson explained that the suspension of these flights was due to a threat of attack against a plane coming from the Iranian capital. The airport has remained without operations since 12:40 p.m. after an email was received warning of an attack against said flight.
