Funded by Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, it is a program that aims to support aspiring businessmen. People eligible to participate in the competition can apply for a grant of up to EUR 6,600. Entrepreneurs who took part in the program talked about its benefits.

is one of the contact points of the EU program. On the PARP website we can read that “the aim of the competition for young people is to provide future and aspiring entrepreneurs with the opportunity to learn from experienced business people running companies in other countries.”
The program is open to entrepreneurs who have started their own business within the last three years, as well as people planning to start one. Erasmus for young entrepreneurs enables trips to European Union countries for a maximum of six months. Program participants receive financial support ranging from EUR 530 to EUR 1,100 during their stay abroad. The specific amount of the subsidy depends on which country the person is going to.

The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development recalled the statements of people who took part in Erasmus for young entrepreneurs. Among them was Marta Pokojowczyk, the owner of a Wrocław manufactory offering hand-woven materials for decorating residential interiors and fashion accessories. – It is very important that Erasmus gives a sense of financial security. One lives modestly, but the diet is enough to rent a place to sleep and buy food, said Marta Pokojowczyk.
Dorota Giżyńska, owner of the language school, also talked about the advantages of the program. – Participating in the Erasmus program for young entrepreneurs opens your eyes, broadens your horizons, allows you to gain experience and look at certain matters from a completely different perspective. I also gained self-confidence professionally. I learned what I can do, what I do well, what I can’t do and what I should work on, said Dorota Giżyńska.
