Italian midfielder of Paris Saint-Germain Marco Verratti has moved to the Qatari football club Al Arabi. This was reported on the official page of the team from Doha on the social network. X (former name of Twitter).

Journalist Nicolo Schira added that the midfielder was offered a contract until the summer of 2026 with a salary of 30 million euros per year. It is noted that the Qataris will pay PSG 50 million euros for this transfer.

Verratti played for PSG for 11 years. Together with the team, he won the French championship nine times and the country’s Super Cup nine times. As part of the Italian national team, the midfielder became the 2020 European champion.

On August 15, PSG striker Neymar moved to Saudi Arabian Al-Hilal. According to RMC Sport, the club sold the forward for 90 million euros excluding bonuses. The Brazilian has been playing for the Parisians since 2017.
