Former UFC champion Nurmagomedov says Americans are not interested in politics
Former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov compared the mentality of Russians and Americans in an interview on the PBD Podcast YouTube channel.
The athlete said that Russians and Americans are wonderful peoples, but completely different from each other. “Americans are not interested in politics and everything else. Only here I can safely go out to drink coffee, and no one will bother me, ”he stressed.
Nurmagomedov defended the UFC lightweight title three times, after which he retired. In total, the athlete won 29 victories in 29 professional fights. After that, he took up coaching, and in 2022 he was recognized as the best trainer of the year according to MMA Junkie.
