Two Los Angeles Police officers have once again starred in a new episode of police violence in the United States. A video captures the moment in which the two policemen approach a couplepresumeds suspected of a robbery in a supermarket in Lancaster, California.
The couple offers no resistancebut while they stop the man, who explains that he has not done anything and asks why they are handcuffing him, the woman takes out her mobile phone and starts recording.
The agents do not answer the questions that the couple asks, but when they see that the woman is recording, they rush towards her. One of them he throws her brutally to the ground.
The woman tells him that he can’t touch her, but the agent grabs her by the neck and forces her to look at the ground while he pulls her down and threatens to hit her in the face.
The detainee complains he says he can’t breathe when the policeman places his knee against her neck. Her husband asks them to take care of her, to leave her because she is sick with cancer.
But even that doesn’t stop them. In fact, the brutality goes to more and the police officer pepper sprays the woman multiple times in the eyes.
As a consequence of this brutal police action, the woman had to be treated in a hospital with burns on her arms and damage to her eyes.
The events occurred on June 24, but it was only now that the police themselves have released the images from the body cameras of the two agents involved.
