Nicolás Maduro congratulated the Communist Party of China on its 102-year anniversary

The president of Venezuela, Nicolas Madurocongratulated this Saturday the Government of China and its citizens on the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the ruler communist party.

“Congratulations to the Chinese people and government as they celebrate another year of the founding of the Communist Party, we are convinced that under your leadership, the heroic Asian nation will continue to take steps towards greatness”wrote the president in a message posted on Twitter.

Last May, the ruling United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) met in Caracas with a delegation from the Communist Party of China (PCCh), with the aim of consolidating relations of friendship and cooperation.

In a brief press release, the PSUV then stated that the meeting, headed by Chavista deputy Diosdado Cabello and the vice minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, Lin Mingxiang, discussed issues such as the “solidarity, internationalism and anti-imperialism”.

At the beginning of June, the Venezuelan government participated in the fourteenth Infrastructure and Construction Investment Forum, which took place in China, to attract new capital in this sector, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Caribbean country.

The Minister of Transportation, Ramón Velásquez, who chaired the Venezuelan delegation, conveyed the disposition of President Nicolás Maduro “to establish cooperation and investment alliances” with China, which maintains an extensive exchange program with Venezuela, “in favor of the development of new projects in the area of ​​infrastructure”.
