Several people have been injured in a school in Bosnia in a shooting perpetrated by a child, as reported by the Bosnian daily Oslobodjenje citing sources from the center.

“There are injured. There are no children among them. I ask parents to control the panic“, has announced Edin Delic, mayor of the town of Lukavac, where the event occurred, according to that medium.

Delic has indicated that the alleged perpetrator of the shots is a minor that has been arrested. The police have not yet reported the event. Oslobodjenje has specified that an employee of the primary school was wounded by a bullet in the neck and that he is undergoing surgery in a hospital in Tuzla, some 120 kilometers north of Sarajevo.

The Istraga portal indicates, for its part, that the perpetrator of the shots is a student who had been expelled from the center for misbehavior and that the victim is a teacher. Another portal, Klix, indicates that the Police have found the weapon with which the attack was committed, without giving further details.
