Park Soo Ryun, South Korea’s most recognized k-drama actress showdrop, died on Sunday, June 11, when he fell down the stairs in his building. Local media reported that she was taken to hospital for emergency treatment, but was declared brain dead despite attempts to revive her.

Soo Ryun, 29, made her debut in various musicals such as Finding Kim Jong Wook, Walking Through Love, Siddharth and The day we loved before being cast to play a young student in the show Disney+, starring Blackpink singer Jisoo and actor Jung Hae-in.

The actress’ family confirmed her death on Sunday and said Soo Ryun’s organs will be donated. “It’s just that her brain is unconscious and her heart is still beating,” said the woman’s mother soompiadding that she was comforted by the knowledge that someone else would be saved by her heart.

“Let your organs go to someone who really needs them. Hoping that the heart is for someone and that we can live in peace,” said his parents.
