A 31-year-old man has been arrested this Tuesday in Nottingham, in the north of England, after being related with the murder of three people in the center of this city, as reported by the Nottinghamshire County Police.

The investigation began after two people were found dead at 04:00 local time (0300 GMT). The Police attended another incident in which a van had run over three other people – who have been admitted to the hospital -, and he later found a third body in another street in Nottingham.

Earlier this morning, British police had claimed to be dealing with a “serious incident in progress” in the city of Nottingham, and had closed access to several roads and suspended the local tram network, although they had not reported what had happened.

Various images shared by Internet users showed the main roads cordoned off with police tape and various agents monitoring the area. In addition to the officers, ambulances and firefighters were also there.

Shortly before 8:00 a.m., police had reported on Twitter that six roads were closed and that they would provide further updates in due course. “Officers are currently in an ongoing serious incident”the authorities said.
