He prince harry has lost the trial in which requested the right to pay privately the police security during your stay in the UK. This has been determined this Tuesday by the High Court of London, which establishes that the Duke of Sussex will not have police protection even if he pays for it.

Harry, the youngest son of King Charles, was stripped of police security which is usually awarded to royal figures after he and his wife, Meghan Markle, stepped down from their official duties in 2020 to move to the United States.

Therefore, he had asked the High Court in London for permission to appeal a previous court decision that had denied him the right to pay security forces for his protection when traveling from the United States to the United Kingdom. Now, the High Court has ruled that you cannot request that judicial review.

This decision comes a week after the Dukes of Sussex, Enrique and Meghan, reported that they had been victims of a “near catastrophic” persecution by “very aggressive” paparazzi in New York.

This lawsuit is one of several that Prince Harry has open in the United Kingdom. Next month he is scheduled to testify in another phone hacking trial against the Mirror Newspaper Group (MNG), a trial that began on May 10 and is expected to last seven weeks.
