Leasing Bond: call for affected families of Carabayllo and Huaral launched

The Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS) approved new calls to grant the Housing Lease Bond for Emergencies (BAE) to families affected by heavy rains and landslides in the districts of Carabayllo (Metropolitan Lima) and Atavillos Bajo (Huaral ). The authorities have identified 47 potential BAE beneficiaries after having validated their homes as collapsed or uninhabitableand for being located in areas declared in a state of emergency.

In the district of Carabayllo there are 23 families that would potentially benefit from the bonus, according to Ministerial Resolution No. 193-2023-VIVIENDA, published today in El Peruano. While in the district of Atavillos Bajo, in the province of Huaral, 24 families were identified, according to RM No. 187-2023-VIVIENDA.

It is worth remembering that the value of bond It is S/500 and will be granted each month for a maximum period of two years for the lease of a home located in the department of Lima.

The details of the potential beneficiaries for the two calls will be published this Thursday, April 27, on the official website of the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (www.gob.pe/vivienda) and the MIVIVIENDA SA Fund (www.mivivienda.com .pe); the premises of the District Municipality; and the premises of the Citizen Service Center of the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (Lima).

What should I do to access the lease bonus?

Within a maximum period of 10 business days, counted from Thursday, April 27, the representative of the family group must submit the following documents: 1) the application for granting the BAE; 2) the affidavit of not having housing other than the collapsed or uninhabitable, located in the department of origin (Lima); 3) the rental contract of the house, signed with the landlord of the same, with signatures legalized before the justice of the peace or notary public; 4) if applicable, the sworn statement declaring the economic impediment for the legalization of signatures.

The District Municipality of Carabayllo or Atavillos Bajo, as the case may be, must send the MVCS the documents presented by the potential beneficiaries, up to a maximum period of three business days.

The authorities will verify that the houses to be rentedconsigned in the applications for granting the BAE, are not validated as collapsed or uninhabitable, and will send the final list of the potential beneficiaries of the BAE to the MIVIVIENDA SA Fund within a maximum period of five business days.
