Jan Mayzel’s first wife was Zofia Kucówna. After graduating from college, he moved to Warsaw to try his hand at the industry. He became recognizable thanks to his roles in such productions as “Miś”, “Career of Nikodem Dyzma” or “Zmiennicy”. When Zofia visited her husband in the capital, she met Adam Hanuszkiewicz. They started an affair, and Jan Mayzel came to terms with the fact that his wife had left for another man.
